If you are struggling, or have anxiety like I do, about certain things like being photographed, I got you!! Below are all of the questions I have been asked or that I would ask a photographer myself. Reach out with any other questions! :)

FAQ

What should I wear?

This is SUCH an important element of your photos turning out well. Simple, natural, and earthy tones go a long way. Hot/bright colors sometimes don't turn out well in the camera lens, unless you're looking for that "pop" of color. Try not to wear the exact same colors as people who will be in the pics with you- the subjects can get lost.

What should I bring?

If you have any props that you can bring that show your personality, interests, or hobbies, I am SO for that! I love showcasing what you love in life, whether that be books, games, a pet, a blanket or shawl, fun hats, jewelry, "pops" of color, flower bouquets (LOVE how these turn out), etc. I will creatively help you pose with your objects!!

Where should we go for pics?

It truly depends on what vibe you're going for. I have a list of places in Central Ohio that I have gone to or heard of that I can help you brainstorm with. Unfortunately, I don't have my own studio, so indoor options are not very ample.

What if I don't know how to pose or if I am shy/awkward?

Okay... are you one of my awkward, non-photogenic peeps? I got you. Please don't let this deter you from getting photographed. These are some tips to keep in mind before our shoot:
-Start off with sitting poses to gain confidence
- Occupy your hands (touch hair, hold necklace, place on leg, swing dress, fix neckline or watch, etc.)
- Movement is key! No robot pics around here, ya'll... Don't be afraid to tilt your head, try new angles, spin, etc. because I will capture it all!
- Be goofy and get really good at fake laughing!
- Making angles or triangles with legs/arms adds character to the photo- I will help you pose for this!

When is my payment due?

I ask that you pay a $50 downpayment to secure your time an day. Then, your total payment is due by the time of our photoshoot together. Feel free to pay smaller amounts leading up to.

Are traveling costs included in the price?

Yes! There are no hidden costs with me- that's a bunch of bologna. However, if your location idea is going to be more than an hour one way for me, I will add a travel fee.

What if we go over our scheduled time?

I charge an extra $60 per half hour extra that we go over.
Example: If we have a 1 hour photo session, but we go for 1.5 hours, it would be an extra $60 for that extra half hour.
